Today I skipped work so I could continue working on my TV stand. I got a late start (which was fine with me), and then I went shopping to get the materials I would need for the drawers and doors. When I got back, I started putting some of the pieces together. Because of the position of the feet and the supports for the top, I had to attach them before putting the sides on. The only concern I have with this is that if they ever break or if the screws somehow tear out, I can't do anything to fix them. Hopefully, since I used three 2.5" screws to secure each piece, that won't be a problem. I also went ahead and attached the drawer slide to the sides since it was easier to do before assembly. Then it was just a matter of gluing the pieces together and securing them with some nails using my nail gun (which is always a blast). Here's what it looks like now:

Tomorrow, I'll be building 6 drawers and 3 doors.
